Boise State’s 22,000 students represent Idaho’s largest and most selective public university. Each year, the academic achievements of our students reach new heights. And with nine doctoral, 78 master’s and 95 baccalaureate degree programs, our university grants 40 percent of all public university bachelor’s degrees in Idaho.
Our donors make all of this possible through philanthropy.
Through the support of our donors, we can keep Boise State affordable and accessible to the brightest students from all backgrounds by creating new scholarships. The generosity of our philanthropic partners helps to grow dynamic research programs – creating knowledge and new technologies that advance the economic development of our region. Donor gifts help the university develop dozens of new degrees – baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral programs – that educate new generations of citizens with the skills and understanding to contribute to our society and economy. Our donors play a crucial role in building new classrooms, laboratories and public spaces, ensuring Boise State’s facilities live up to the promise of its future as a metropolitan research university of distinction.
In partnership with our donors, Boise State lifts up and strengthens the character of adventurous minds seeking a path to improvement, enlightenment and tomorrow’s success.
